You just finished your smoothie and now you have a bunch of banana peels leftover. Normally you would just throw them away but did you know that there are plenty of ways you can reuse your yellow slippery friend. I definitely encourage you to look up other ways to reuse your peels but for now, we are going to talk about banana water.

Banana Water is a natural liquid fertilizer for your plants. It can be used on your indoor or outdoor plants.

What you will need:

•°An old glass jar with a lid

°•Water

•°2 banana peels

Place the banana peels in the glass jars, fill to the top with water and let it sit for 24 hours. You can experiment with how long you let it sit but be mindful that this can get moldy pretty fast and that’s not the goal here.

Benefits:

Potassium

Magnesium

Calcium

Phosphorus

And other essential nutrients for your plants. I hope you give this a try and let us know how this worked out for you.

Cheers to Smoothies!
